Touch for Health was designed by the late Dr. John Thie. He wanted to provide simple, but highly effective techniques to everyone to help themselves and each other. Over the years, Touch for Health has been used by many people, including health professionals, and has become the most widely known form of Kinesiology. It is used as a foundation for other schools of kinesiology.
What is Touch for Health/Kinesiology? Always a difficult subject to describe as it covers so many areas of health and well- being. When asked, I describe it as such;
Kinesiology translates to body movement. We take the western approach to Anatomy and physiology, how the body works and functions, what it requires to work to its full potential and we combine that knowledge with Traditional Chinese medicine. Using muscle testing, we can help balance the body and mind. It is an amazing tool for pain – chronic and acute, postural problems, emotional clearing, helping with stress and anxiety, balancing over and under energy. Finding foods that provide or deplete energy. It’s a great aid to helping you achieve or find your goals! A fantastic technique for helping you realise your full potential!

If you wish to progress and work with the general public, you will be required to do the 4 levels of Touch for Health, along with the proficiency workshop followed by an assessment. It is a fantastic technique, that I personally use every day with clients and also on myself and my family.
