Moroccan Sacred Candlelight Back Massage

There is a new treatment available at the Just Bea Clinic! And! Having had this massage myself it is definitely a WOW treatment!

Coming from the multi award winning Face The World Training School, where I trained in their Signature Holistic  Facial, this Moroccan sacred candlelight massage starts with you lighting the “sacred” massage candle and thinking of a person or an area of your life that you would like  blessed or need guidance – and so the intention is set. The candle represents the North African “Guedra Blessing” – imparting blessings and good energy to the community.

“The Guedra is a night-time ritual, around a fire under the light of the moon or inside one of the larger tents by fire or candlelight. For this treatment, we focus on the light from a candle and use the traditional Djembe drum to represent the heartbeat in the bespoke music.” (Face the world)

These hand made candles have been created especially for Face The World – you won’t be able to find them anywhere else! They melt at a low temperature – so when molten this luxury massage medium can be safely poured onto the client’s back without the risk of burning the skin.

These unique candles contain:

Shea Butter:
Shea Butter has moisturising properties leaving skin silky smooth. It has also been proven to reduce inflammation.

Sweet Almond:
As sweet almond oil has hypoallergenic properties it allows you to cleanse your skin, relieve eczema and keep your skin soft with less risk of an allergic reaction. It is also brilliant to relieve any lingering muscle aches you may have.

Rose Otto Oil
To create a single drop of Rose Otto oil it requires 60 roses! This makes this ingredient hard to come by and expensive to manufacture. However, the benefits of using this oil are priceless! It can help fight depression, reduce inflammation and is an anti-spasmodic.

As the candle melts you will receive a cleanse using traditional fair trade Moroccan black beldi soap and then a wonderful exfoliation using  genuine “hammam spa” kessa mitts encouraging the removal of dead skin cells which will aid new skin growth, thus leaving the skin feeling smoother and looking more vibrant.  This soap contains black olive paste –  rich in oleic acid and vitamin E – and is a deeply nourishing moisturiser.

After the soap has been removed with warm hand mitts, the melted massage candle is applied. The warmth is so soothing, you can feel your muscles melt as the soothing massage begins. Relax, unwind, forget the world and enjoy this amazing massage.
