It’s over to you! What do YOU want from ME! You decide!

I have been thinking about what my next training course should be. I like to expand my repertoire as often as I can!  The thing is, I just can’t decide!

I am asked for hot stone massage which I have reservations about because I have heard that stones can over heat causing burning BUT, there is a treatment called Lava Shell massage, http://www.sharedbeautysecrets.com/treatments/ which according to Vogue magazine are the “new hot stones!” This therapy appeals to me because the shells can’t over heat and they are also self heating so environmentally sound.

The Lava Shell massage provides deep relaxation, with the warmth of the shells stimulating the blood supply which results in healthier looking skin and relaxed muscles. The shells are used all over the body including the tummy encouraging peristalsis (colonic movement) providing relief from constipation, bloating, IBS and menstrual cramps. The shells can also be used for a deeper massage, relieving sports injuries and soothing tired, sore muscles.

However! Back in January I did the Ayurvedic Face- lift Therapy course http://www.ayurvedapura.com/ which has proved immensely popular with my clients. There are various other courses which Ayurveda Pura do. One of which is the Shirodhara Treatment. The word shirodhara breaks down into two ideas: “shiro,” meaning head, and “dhara,” which means flow. Together this aims to bring physical, emotional and mental health. During the treatment a warm oil is slowly poured over the clients forehead (6th chakra) in a continuous stream, followed by a head, neck and shoulder massage. This holistic treatment is ideal for hair loss, migraine sufferers, sinus disorders, jaw clenching, general stress and depression. A fabulous pick me up for our every day lives.

So! What do YOU think? I would really appreciate some feedback. You are my clients and I want to please you! So! Which one? It’s over to you! Lava Shell or Shirodhara!

Initially I thought the shell one as whilst I don’t suffer from Ibs I know alot of people who do and a new alternative therapy to aid would provide hope to many! However having read the second option of a face lift and massage I would, as a customer def go for that as whilst having a medicinal slant (assisting those conditions depression being my key one) it has an actual hands on relaxation element involved. I have had hot stones and found it nice but not enough contact to feel like you have had a treatment.

Best of luck with whichever you choose….I wish you lived here I would warrant a loyalty card!
