At Just Bea I offer an initial consultation to explain how the brain works and how Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can be beneficial for the client. I also provide a relaxation CD for perspective clients during the course of the consultation.
Each session is designed to focus the mind into a mode of positive thinking prior to entering the trance state which is designed to be relaxing and soothing for the individual. Trance is extremely natural, we go into trance several times a day- when we drive, watch television, change the beds, walk the dog etc.
The number of sessions to help people who have feelings for strong negative compulsions can vary and, obviously, as with any medical issue then it is important to remember that your GP is also there to help.
I am a trained Solution Focused Hypnotherapy following extensive training as part of the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training course in London. I am now studying for my Advanced Hypnotherapy Diploma which is based in Bristol. They are members of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH), which ensures its members adhere to a strong ethical code and engage in regular supervision sessions.
