Mindfulness is the “in” word at the moment but does make a lot of sense. We need to start living in the now rather than yesterday or tomorrow. Be aware of everything that is around you. We have lost all of our senses and no longer taste or smell. We don’t listen or see or feel anymore. We have become robots in our own prisons. We all lead stressful lives, some who like to tell everyone and everyone else who quietly get on with it. Learning mindfulness is so beneficial and is easy to put it into practise! I may even give you homework!
Meditation may be a frightening word to some. People will say they can’t meditate. Trust me you can. It is a trance like state and we do it several times a day. We learn how to settle the mind, acknowledge what enters it ( like what shall I feed the children for tea) and let it go. It takes practise but it is extremely beneficial for reducing stress, blood pressure, headaches, joint pain and we learn how to breathe properly using all of our lungs and not just the top half. This in turns improves our Oxygen supply which will then improve our bodies ability to heal, circulate and work to its best ability.

The new course date for Mindfulness and Meditation courses at the Just Bea Clinic in Kesgrave is Thursday 23rd February at 10am. This will run for 6 consecutive Thursdays and will cost £30. This must be paid on the first day of the course.
One to one classes are available on request or if you have your own group who would like to get together for regular classes these are held at a time that suits you and is £40 for and hour.
